About Us

Special Advocacy Consultants was born out of my deep passion and unwavering commitment to supporting individuals with exceptionalities, as well as the dedicated professionals and loving family members who stand by their side. With a certification as a supervisor of special education, my expertise in this field is well established. Throughout my extensive career spanning over two decades, I have held diverse positions in the field of special education, across various states. I have had the privilege of designing and implementing programs in both private and public school systems, making a meaningful impact on the lives of countless individuals. Additionally, between 2006 and 2011, I worked as a private practice advocate, forming strong partnerships with parents and providing invaluable assistance to over 60 families in the Houston, TX and surrounding area school districts. Advocating for the rights of individuals with exceptionalities is not only a professional pursuit but also a deeply personal one for me. I have experienced the significance of this cause firsthand, as two of my own children have exceptionalities. This lifelong passion fuels my drive to ensure that every individual, regardless of their unique abilities, receives the support, resources, and opportunities they deserve.
